This is a painting I mentioned in a previous blog. I had brushed the painting with retouch varnish not realizing that the rose was not yet dry. I ended up having a bleeding white rose and a white film across the painting. A sad sight! I had to put it aside a few weeks. It's now finished it, with the exception of a coat of varnish! That will have to wait.....a while.
