"Lilacs and Dragon," oil on hardboard, 8"x16"- (update sold.)
My new painting just completed. I took my time on this one, worked on it off and on over two months. With gentle brush strokes, I slowly applied thin coats of paint. I often used Old Masters Maroger Painting Medium throughout the development of the painting. I really enjoyed incorporating lilacs in the painting. First time I've painted them. Hope you like it! Thank you for visiting my blog.

Hi Amanda,
ReplyDeleteYou did this technique well. And a great subtle radial design it has, spinning off the dragon vase... more.
Hope all id well in the OC, it's windy here right now.
Keep painting...
Hi David, Thank you! I was holding on to this one for Art A Fair opening soon for the summer, but just old it! Lovely when that happens, but need to paint more, more, more!
